1.6.1 Druids take an oath on entering the druidic order that they will never use (or carry) large metal objects such as weapons, shields and armor. Metal is considered dead and is an affront to nature. Only non metal objects like wooden quarterstaves or Druid weapons such as scimitars are acceptable. Armor or shields must be made of cloth, leather or ironwood. Rings, amulets and other small trinkets are acceptable. Similarly, Druids would never willingly mine or work with large quantities of metal ores. No Druids will be exempt from this creed |
Is store bought equipment such as Axfell shields considered metal? What about looted equipment? I would assume crafted and then modified to look like wood does not matter.
The reason I ask is because Iron Wood is: their only option, hard to find, and late on the crafting tree. This leaves druids rather ill equipped in comparison. |
