Forum Rules
From Anphillia
1. This forum is for Anphillia. Specifically the Anphillia server that is currently hosted by me. Not anyone else's Anphillia. Not anyone else's server or module either. The primary usage of this forum should be for the discussion of Anphillia, and it's directly related topics.
- Off-topic replies: These are posts that have no bearing on the current thread. All threads during their lifetimes have tangents, but the tangent should never lose focus of the original topic. Otherwise a new post should be started.
- Off-Topic threads: These are threads that have nothing to do with the forum they're posted in. Each forum has a general one or two line description of what is appropriate for posting inside it. The least strict of which is the Commons, which still need to be kept to the general idea of Anphillia in some way.
- Useless posts: These posts give little or no useful information at all. Restating something obvious, telling someone they have a good idea but not giving any input to it otherwise, posting as if it were a poll as in saying nothing but "yep" or "no", and the likes are all useless. Please make each post well thought out and informative as possible.
3. Moderation is left to the moderators. Please do not ask for a moderator to lock a thread just because you are personally dissatisfied with the contents of it, or if you were the originator of the topic and no longer wish to discuss it. Your indvidual posts are your own, but a thread belongs to the community. Locking a thread may squelch another person's very valuable input on it.
4. Three strikes and you're out. Each user will have a lifetime of three warnings. The first warning will go without a punishment. The second incurrs a 2 week ban, and the third is a permanent ban from the forums. Breaking any of these guidelines will be cause for a strike.
5. Personal attacks are strictly forbidden. A direct attack against another individual will forfit you all warnings and earn you an instant permanent ban, no exceptions. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.
6. Topics will no longer be locked, with the exception of informational posts made by the DM team or forum administrators such that no discussion is required and that any discussion would clutter the post's original intent. If a thread becomes so cluttered with spam that it is no longer remotely related to the original topic, then the entire thread will be removed to an internal forum for review and punishment issuance.
- 3 lines of text
- 1 image in PNG, JPG, or GIF format no larger than 600x130.
- 1 image as described in b plus 1 additional line of text.
- All images must be 50KB or less in size (yes, that means you'll have to turn down the quality of your jpg compression).
8. Moderators and other staff members may not edit other people's posts. This includes leaving small "comments" on them. If you wish to comment on a post, create a reply like everyone else has to.
9. Everyone is expected to be treated with courtesy and respect.
